Been offered a corsa shell for pennys and i have a 1.2 8v engine knocking about in my garage,im just need to know the shell was originally a 1 litre ecotec,do i need to swop the engine looms over to or will it work on the 1.2?

and would i have anyother problems chucking the 1.2 in the 1 litre shell such as engine mountings driveshafts etc?

arnt the mounts different on the 1 litre ecotechs compared to the 1.2 8valves?

Mounts are different mind. Just use 1.2 ones? Possible?

Probaly easier just to find a 1litre ecotec to chuck in then,cant be arsed faffing about really.

I was just interested coz ive got a 1.2 engine and box with only 61000 miles on it its a mint runner to,sounds like new...ah well

Press it ive found an s reg tigra shell on ebay now :lol and its closer to me

just need to know are corsa and tigra steering columns the same?
