hey all whent out 2day and started up the car, was gonna wash it and get it all cleaned up
then i noticed a small amount of smoke from under the bonnet
it looks like its coming from teh hose that leads out of the radiator but at the joint at the other end? i tighted it rite up and started the car up again and gave it a rev to heat it up
its still smoking or steemin?
does this part have a gaskit that may be fookd or can any1 sugest anything else??
any help much apreciated

Which rad hose is it, rad to the head or rad to the header tank? There might be a small leak causing the steam. Might be worth popping the hose off and checking it. Just be prepared for some coolant being lost when you take the hose off.

its the one to the left hand side at teh top of teh engin, iv tryd uploading pics but no joy, iv tightend all teh hoses and toped up the collent so hoping that will be in

it's not coming from the thermostat is it?, if so it might be it's gasket

Could be spilled oil on the hose if it's smoke. Though I didn't think hoses got that hot really.
Leaky hose or thermostat.

got it sorted
the hose was leaking a tad on teh wall of teh hose, small bubbles and over time was obv dripping, hose replaced n all gd
