started doing it more and more when started from cold ,misfires loads. stinks of petrol, pops coming down the revs, soon as the sai turns off its fine. not had much of a chance to have a look yet.

Unplug the sai next time you start it from cold and see what happens mate, sounds like a fueling issue, all plugs/leads ok? Pretty sure popping is overfueling.

i know it over fueling just not sure whats causing it i got about 20 miles of £10 the other day its getting silly. and yes the emls on but its been on since i fitted my inlet. no had a chance to check the codes yet

Best bet would be to wack a paperclip in and test for the codes mate and then post them up, will make it easier for people to help you

just tried the paperclip test and all the eml does is flash constantly

Thats it giving you the code. You need to count the flashes and work the code out from that.

it flashed not in a pattern just a constant flashing for about 10 mins. i have done the test before and its never done it like that

if it flashed continuously you may have connected the wrong pins. Also you turn the ignition on but dont start the car as this also makes it flash constantly iirc
