i have decided is time i had a new pc as this one is over 2 yrs old, and getting slow. can someone who knows a bit about them please spec me up a decent system. about £4-500 to spend, mainly used for internet, downloading music, few games. nothing too modern or complicated.
i dont want to go to pc world and end up buying something that will either break or be out of date within weeks.

LOL need a decent one to play crysis even on medium settings, but £500 would get you a decent pc minus monitor.

indeed, a friend of mine has just bought a nvidia 8800 GT OC2 (very nice card), he only has a single core, but based on that card with 2gb of Ram on WinXP its automatically set itself for low settings.
