Hi. I'm really sorry for this question, but i'm new and haven't got a clue how to do this or if it's even possible. I've got a Vauxhall Corsa sxi 1.2 16v, on a 54 plate, and i'm wanting to hard wire(If possible)my ipod into the stereo-it is the factory fitted stereo. I'm hoping it means i just need to connect into the back of the stereo but i don't know what i need such as cable etc and where it connects in. I'm also not sure how the front of the head unit comes off. If anyone out there can help it would be very muchg appreciated. I've tried the fm tuner/transmitters and am finding them rubbish. I like to listen to my music in as much clarity as possible. Again many thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Regards.

Unfortunatly it cannot be done on most of them.
What model radio is fitted to your corsa as they chuck all different types in there... check your manual.

Unfortunatly there isnt anything you can do with it
It's a canbus unit and you can't use normal analog pins to try and fool it like you can with some other cars like Renault Megane's ect.....
Whats stopping you upgrading to an aftermarket unit may I ask?

This is what Steve means, if he got it from Halfords which I assume he did.
Dension Ice Link FM
It plugs in through the aerial socket, so you tune it in as you would a radio station, but as it plugs in rather than transmits, you get a perfectly clear signal with no radio crackle.

any of them modulators work by plugging the car ariel into the box and then the box into the headunit ariel socket. ipod plugs into the box and then you set which radio frequency you want to use and then tune your stereo into whatever frequency you set on the box
