got the car back and fitted lambda makes no difference.
the cars really really boggy spluttery when starrt but when it hits 3000 revs its fine.
could the cams on standard timing just be overfuelling the engine way too much so when cold the engine wont spark it properly?
cheers

I would imagine that cams have nothin to do with fuelling. Just duration of valves etc.
Unless the cams are really wild

I've got cams in mine aswell as chipped ECU, and a 3 bar fuel regulator. I know mines over fuelling as i can smell it and have been told it blasts out a little soot when being driven hard. I've noticed on cold mornings mine runs as rough as hell! As in like its firing on 2 cylinders till it "clears its throat" kind of thing. I'm going to be changing my fpr for a standard 2.5 bar item to see if that helps.

in short, no they wont cause it to excessively overfuel as the duartion the injector is open for is controlled by the ecu and the pressure of the fuel is controlled by the standard FPR

Mine sounds like the second vid when its first started up on a cold morning. It clears after 100 yards of driving down the street. I've an idea what mine is but not on yours unfortunately
