The Offender
I bought this Amp 2 years ago, but I never got round to fitting it. Stupid I know, but instead of giving it away or selling it, I feel its my duty to get my moneys worth out of it before I see it go.
Here's my problem. I connected it up completely, but there's no LEDs on the amp at all. At first the protection light was on, but it was so dim, you'd have trouble seeing it in the dark. I had a weak battery, but I replaced that this morning and still the same problem, except now the protection light doesnt come on at all. I've connected the 12v power lead to the positive battery terminal, and grounded the amp using a hole in the boot (where the carpet clips used to be) what else am I missing?

Could simply be the amp is faulty? Have you got another amp to try the same thing?

I hope not, because its brand new and I dont think they'd refund me after two years Does connecting the REM wire have any bearing on this? I tried it without connecting to the head unit as I thought it should be getting juice regardless, but a friend told me you have to connect the REM cable or it wont show any power. Thing is, i tried it this morning, but still no luck.

It could be a fuse, mine did this a couple of times last week.

Cheers mate, I forgot to add though, I checked thre fuse on the power cable, and the fuse on the amp itself and there's no breakage in the metal
