Just got back from COmet with some nice goodies

Sony 40" 1080p LCD TV

KDL-40T3500 £799.00

Sony DVD-RW RDRGX350B-C £89.99

And a nice glass (black glass :S ) stand for £99.99

Don't think I've done too badly there but no doubt everyone will now tell me where I've gone wrong

Parents have... I'm after a PS3 maybe in future... going to be living on my own/with a flatmate so a Wii isn't essential just yet but I would love to get one... running low on funds now theough lol

Depends on the size.

Extra pixels is always better if the source has that many to start with.

can get the sony about £60 cheaper if you look around, but pretty good screens otherwise

Yeah I found it cheaper on iffy websites thru pricerunner but not much better from well establishe dpalces so i wasnt too fussed

It was the non 1080p model I do believe

We bought the KDL-32S3000 the other day. Brilliant TV, can't fault it yet. The 40T3500 can only be better
