I was wondering if anyone could help, i downloaded a video the other day that was an avi and i couldnt play it
But wmv play ok!
I use windows media player to watch videos

Probably needed different codecs, sometimes you can get em, sometimes you cant.

Just get FFDShow, should play everything you need

FFDShow includes DIVX codecs, trust me it's the only thing you should need to install rather than downloading all these other bollocks codec packs, or trying to get each one seperately

easiest thing to do is download GOM player. very good imo.
VLC player second to that.
