My windows constantly steam up, especially drivers and passengers front windows. Anyone got any tips for stopping it? I was suggested Fairy Liquid, but I'm sure that'd just go streaky

What setting do you have the air on?

Air from outside or recirculation? If it is on recirculation, take it off, that makes mine steam up like something chronic.

Once the fans are drawing air from outside and not recirculating, keep it on setting 1, sometimes help.

If this doesn't help, change your pollen filter. It may be damp.

Do the above with the filter and slider. Then open windows about an inch. Leave on the drive for an hour or two with blowers on 2-3.

Have you left the pice of plastic that goes under the scuttle pannel off? its the thin black one you cant see unless you take the scuttle pannel off, it goes over your wiper motor and Brake master cylinder, right across the bottom of the windscreen.

Mine always used to steam up when I got it and it was worse with the heaters on! without that plastic cover, water runs down your windscreen, through the pollen filter into the heater. Giving you a rather nice sauna effect

Turned it to the left, as it was on the right, will let you know the results.

Where's this pollen filter anyway?

I've always had the blowers on 1, facing the windscreen as it always seems to steam up if it's off. Cheers for replies.

Aye it does work well just make sure you dry it off properly otherwise it goes streaky which is just as bad as pure fog

Might invest in some of that stuff. I couldn't find out if putting the re-circ off worked last night, as I had pizza in the car so was steaming ip from the heat of that

Last bit would be a problem! I'll change the filter anyway, hasn't been changed since I got the car.
