i know there from one extreme to the other but not so far apart it should be split into 2 threads i reckon lol.
Right, question 1- sub wiring.
I have a sub and amp kit and my friend CBA to come and fit it, he had no problem sorting it in my corsa but he doesnt want to know about this one.
the big thick red wire with a fuse box connects to negative battery terminal?
the pinkish chuncky gauged wire with 2 'plugs' like headphone sockets go into the head unit?
6x9 wire goes from amp to sub?
a thin blue wire? this is the one i have no idea where it goes???
second question!
I've just today recieved my car back from a garage who sprayed my boot to match my car, they have stuck the badges back on like i asked but they are a little worn out, i know how to debadge, but what adhesive should i use to stick them back on?, im thinkin of either spraying them or replacing them.
hub cap spraying, laugh as much as you want lol, im on the big save up for some alloys so im making do with manufacturer hubcaps.
is this just like spraying any other plastic?
thanks for reading, help appreciated

Nope......positive terminal. Fuse in the engine bay.

Yes, they are the phono leads that plug into the amp.
6x9 wire goes from amp to sub?
No, the wires from your sub go to the amp. 6x9 to head unit unless you have a 4 channel amp.

That is the remote wire. Tells the amp when to turn on. Usually blue with white stripe from headunit to remote conneciton on the amp.

thanks mate, i have a bit of a confession though, i cheated when i fitted my head unit!
here is a really bad diagram!
*h/unit*-----*the wires that come out the little black grid box*-------*the wires that are part of the car.*
my middle adapter thing didnt fit so i plugged the head unit into the car wires itself, it works all fine though, does this mean i cant fit the blue wire?
i hope that makes sense!

No too sure. There should be a blank where the remote goes. But, it won't have a pin in there.
