Current spec
64 X2 4600
4x512 DDR2-6400
x1950GT 256GDDR3
Ive found this deal and was wondering if its worth taking out 2 of my 512 sticks (all 4 are matched, same brand, speed etc) and replacing with 2 of the above sticks?
I dont actually need it, everything works fine as it is and experience tells me if it aint broke dont fix it, but at £30 including delivery I cant really go wrong except not buying it??

why buy it if you dont need it, buy it and save it for when your pc feel slower, but im guessing it will be even cheaper in a year or so

Im thinking of possibly going from 32bit XP to 64bit Vista though.....and then it would make a difference no?

well yes it would make a difference, to me it looks like you have already made your mind up to buy it, and your just trying to justify it
