Right,
I have a Corsa B 1.6 Sport fitted with Cav Gsi rims. What are the biggest, best brand brakes available that will fit behind my wheels, what calipers and pads also.
Ball park figure on the price?
Cheers peeps

They are not the best available and thats a second hand price as IIRC LMF/V-Tuning do them for about £230 brand new. (I would have to dig the receipt out)
It really is a subjective question as you will get a larger disc on with 4 pots if using seperate bells because you are spacing away from the main proplem of fitting them - the webbing on the back of the spokes.
Simple answer is that the more you spend, the better you get but for a proper set up with 4 pots you can budget on about £500-£700+
I think my whole brake system has a retail at just under £2.5k but I had to have 17's to clear them, so that gives you an idea.

BUT
the v6 stuff (which i have got) can decrease the pedal feel. Can be quite spongy with the 288mm jobbies.
Think i may go back down to 256mm once its on the road & i see how it drives.

Nope, said nothing about a budget.
308mm with calipers on 15", wouldn't the calipers scrape the inside of the rim?
Thanks for the replies so far fellas. Think I have 256mm Black diamond drilled discs on at the mo...

You can just about fit vaux 288's on, but no wheel wieghts, as they foul the caliper.

That's 288's out then, will just stick with 256's

i know for a fact that you can only go to 288mm on 15's as that is what is on mine now and the calipers just to say miss but i got weights on mine and its very very close so doubt you could go any bigger...and he also didnt say he wasnt doin it on a budget either same again try and help people and get grief i am goin on what i have done and what mine is like and like i said he didnt say anything about a budget or not.
