has it broke off in the HU? if so you might be lucky enough to get it out with some smal long nose pliers! also you could reconnect a new end onto the existing cable surely, depending on your electrical skills!

See if you can just trace it back from the end you can see. You should just be able to pop on a new end. However the standard vaux one is annoyingly short anyway so it maybe worth extending it if you can.

Got the same problem, the plug that goes in the radio is missing, stripped the sheath back but the inner core is very fine plus theres only 4" to play with as the cable is part of the loom.
Had a look today there is a connector in the passenger foot well, so going to see how much a new one would be from vauxhall.
Will let you know the price.
Put a photo in my garage just take the shelf off then the plastic cover, the connector is the grey cable at the front of all the wires.
Hope this helps.

Just found out the price of the ariel lead from the passenger footwell to the back of the head unit it is £25 + vat.
So quite pricey but might save alot of hassle.
PS in stock as well at my local dealers.

Has that got the special connector on the end to mate up with the one in the footwell, its like a spring load clip that holds the two connectors together. If so thats a good saving.
