Will be fine, the only issue is if your an installer the manufacturer wont honour their guarantee should anything happen.

we had a mouse chew a 50p piece size hole in a plastic pipe just last week, id go with copper

the push fit copper stuff is great...not much dearer than normal copper joints and can do it in no time

I don't know what OSMA gold is, but last thing i knew was that if using chrome plated pipes, they should have the coating rubbed off of the end of the pipe where they go into the push fit.
