You could try opening a window instead?

Just open the window, gets rid of all the steam in the entire room.
Most people whinge about getting mould in their bathroom, then say they never open the window........you should always open it, or run an over-running extractor fan at the very least.

Dont see the problem myself? When I turn the shower on I open the window, when I get out the room is dry and the extractor fan (auto kicks in with humidity) doesnt even turn on so I close it again. Open it depending on how hot you have the shower, and if you have it hot enough you will keep the room warm anyway
