Why would you quote a post that was pointless the first time round?

Some of the 8 valves ran the same discs/callipers, others round a different calliper design altogether!

mobby ill tell you now 16v and 8v does not dictate the thickness of the disk

i can gaurantee you that.

and the pads, will fit both early and late spec are same thickness, i also can gaurantee that

how do i know?

i have 4 sets of brakes here all varying years and from different cars.

and either the thick disk and caliper and the 2mm thinner disk and caliper use the same piston so are more than up to the job of stopping a little corsa.

put it this way

i am selling a set of calipers of a 8v calibra, they take the same pads as all the others, on difference is the caliper body is a little thinner, and the disk required is a couple of mm thinner,

now i found a set of the wider ones on a h reg 2.0 8v cav

i found a set of the thinner ones on a 16v gls cav, and a 2.0i cav and a 16v calibra.

vaux put what they felt like on these cars apparently,

now the piston seal and piston is identical so brakeing power is the same.
