I'm thinking of lowering my car but i don't want to lower is so low that i can't get over speed bumps and sleeping police men because of where i live. So is there a hight limit/spring size that can lower the car but to a safe amount so that i can still get over thease with out damaging my car?. Sorry if it sounds a silly question I have never lowered a car before.
Thanks

Wheel size and offset of wheels?
But 40mm should be fine, and not disrupt general driving. 60mm and you will get over speedbumps etc, but will just need to take it easier when doing so.
