right chaps finally got the car running the day sweet as a nut?
then desaster
came up to a set of lights stopped everything fine
went to pull away then bang bang bang bang
switched engine off straight away
started it again to get over on to pavement
opened bonet and noticed it was the hose that comes off side off block hole in it
so fixed it there and then
put water in it and started it still banging from top off engine
since got it home still banging did oil change no joy
temp never went into red or oil light never came on
what can it be sounds like tappets are totally fuked?????
