What model car do you order a CV joint from for the long shaft?
I'm using a nearside calibra CV at the moment, but I don't think it's right - Seems a bit short - Keeps trying to pull out of the box.

Using standard calibra turbo inner CVs on mine with the big shaft setup, cant say Ive ever noticed it trying to pull out the box though. The inner CV should let the shaft move in and out of it freely, maybe its worn out? pull the boot back and wipe the grease away and see if the balls are close to the edge of the cup. Last thing you want is your balls popping out

The CV's are brand new! Only had them a few weeks. Will check it over again later on.

If it's trying to come out try replacing the lock ring. You're meant to do it every time you take the shaft out apparently.

Are you sure its pulling and not being pushed out?
I had a problem with my long inner cv joint, and the end of the cv joint was hitting something inside the diff causing it to pop out of the gearbox. Ended up taking an angle grinder to the end of it (only took 2-3 mm off), and since then it hasn't come back out again.
