I found a service called post to paint, this is where you send off the parts you require spraying and he will do it and then return them.

I asked him for a quote and this is the price he gave for -

Front Airdam @ £80
Rear Airdam @ £80
4 x Arches @ £70
2x Door Handles @ £30

so in total £260 to spray everything in vaux black code 80L.

Is this a good price and would anyone ever consider using a post to paint service?

You run the risk of the parts getting damaged on the return trip....do they offer any kind of guarantee?

yea i was thinking about that and i would only use him if he could guarentee me of my items returned un marked etc,

be best to give your car to a bodyshop so they can match the paint as it may have faded over the years

as everyone said, it could get damaged on the way there/back,

and also it will not be an exact paint match
