Shaky steering wheel - it's still here after a number of attempts to fix
With the standard alloys on it does it sometimes (at high speeds or under breaking)
With the aftermarket alloys it does it all the time when above 50mph
I've had the following done:
- Tracking
- Balancing
- Spiggot Rings (on my other alloys)
- Brakes (Discs + pads changed)
I have been told it could be the following:
- Bushes (Front roll bar - anti roll bar bushes)
- Wheel bearings (going to be purchasing soon)
- Power steering rack ?
I have noticed that on my front left hand side tyre the inner part of the tyre is warn down to fook
If anyone has got any ideas please post up

Balljoints, Track rod ends, top mounts - just a few things to add to the possibilities.
It's one of these things that you're going to need to eliminate one by one I think - Have a look at those things though - quite easy to see if they're playing up.

Try fitting new tyres to your rims, some bulges may cause shacking, it happened with my car, so i balanced my rims n got new tyres.

its not that your wheels are fucked because it would happen all the time..although u said u have noticed that on my front left hand side tyre the inner part of the tyre is warn down to fook, then your camber angle needs sorting out on, just do visual cheecks of all joints and bushes to see if any are split, and check all steering and suspension components

Update: I have put the other fox alloys back onto the car and the shakeyness is really bad at mid range speeds (50-60) and above
I have phoned a bloke I know who is going to have a go in the car this evening (if the weather is ok) and try and work out what it is (it makes a knocking noise on the left hand side of the car and sometimes pulls to the left )
But I must say the grip is unreal with the alloys that are now on - takes corners at nice speeds
However the downside is a hard ride and a car which shakes a lot
Can't wait to work out what it is
