1). A redtop will not bodge into a nova with bodged gsi mounts
2) nova gsi shafts wont work in the gearbox
3) a standard F13 on a redtop is alot of work and will die within minutes

1) Yes they will but 1 will have to be made
2) GSI shafts with inner big block CVs will fit big block gearboxes
3)It can be made to fit iirc and IMO It depends how you drive as to whether it lasts or not but launching it everywhere would most certainly kill it.

Lol, it does.
Bell housing is the same
You just need to mess with various clutches/flys to go the engine and box "tied" together.

1) Cut and move the wing mount down by 1.5" (circa 38mm)
2) Yes, they are 22 splined inners so use the Mk2 Cav 1.6 inner CV's (2 different types so make sure they have the same amount of male splines as the 'big block' inners)
3) Yes, if you have access to a a machine shop you can modify the flywheel to take a GTE pressure plate as they have a different number of bolt holes on a different PCD IIRC). As the guy said above, you are also supposed to be able to do it using diesel bits?

nova GSI shafts wont work, as they are not 22 spline shafts, it's very rare to find them on a gsi, usually on the very very very early one's only..
it's GTE's and TD's that you get the 22 spline's on
and on cutting and welding the chassis mount lower, this only work's, when using a big block mk2 astra mount, not a nova mount

Sorry mate, forgot to add that part so cheers! Thats how my old grot box Nova XE was done which was amongst the earliest to be converted as far as I know?
On the shafts, not a clue on how common they are but we 100% used them from a GSI conversion (on a J/K IIRC?) with Mk2 inners and there are a handul of GSI's on a G plate I believe just as a few GTE's on an H? (possibly a J?)
