A new Barn Conversion has come up in a really quiet local village, just spoken to the builders and going for a look around on the weekend hopefully. I've wanted to move to this particular area for a while and always loved barn conversions so its got the best of both. My only reservation is going back to a semi, our current house is detatched and its great not hearing your neighbours going upstairs/shouting/fucking etc etc. If it all looks good I'll be putting ours on the market pretty soon.
The picture is of a very similar build, the one we're looking at has a walled garden.
