right first i ran out of petrol was running fine till then i got some petrol then it wouldnt start theni bumped it started but sounds rough espec on idle when i put the foot down smokes like hell and sounds rough also struggles to start any gen ?

worst case; it ran lean when you 'ran out of petrol' and you melted something.

best case: loads of shite has been dragged through into your fuel filter

check you timmin mate when you bumped it , it may have jumped a tooth on the belt
