whats the differences between the engine?
and is there parts can take off the 1.6 and put it on 1.4 to give it any extra power? or smoother acceleration or anything similar?

Main difference asides from the obvious 200cc is bigger ports in the head, bigger throttle body and inlet manifold. I have a 1.6 inlet manifold if you need one also have a 1.6 throttle body come to think of it

cams and tb are same. inlet and head is diferent. not worth the work fitting a 1.6 inlet realy. just bung a powerbox on

X14XE and X16XE heads are the same iirc, its the C16XE head thats got the different ports.

99% sure the cams are the same

injectors are the same too

The ports are smaller on the X14XE head. However, they are interchangeable. I think that the cams are the same and the inlets are smaller on the X14XE.

I stand corrected. Inlet cams are the same on all 3 engines but X14XE exhaust cam is different to the X16XE and C16XE one.

There might be a small gain to be had with the cam but other than that there isnt a lot to swap over for gains, as mentioned the main difference is just the extra 200cc

Your probably better off getting a new inlet manifold, either a dbilas or a copy from here. That will make a noticable difference
