t the back of the inlet near the coolent tank, bit of a mission to change but its not impossible!

becuase my car takes a while to build up when i get to 4000 it flies but before that it take to look and now and then you can be sitting there and the car revs it self and revs to about 2000 but had gone to 3000 brfore :S:S:S:S

On a dbilas / manztel inlet... Where is it located?

On the throttle boddie itself?

Same place. Back of the inlet manfold. Looks like a black coke can shaped thingy.

Oh my EGR is blanked off.

My ICV is playing up. I that on my throttle boddie? Or hiding somewhere else?

Yes on throttle body a 4 pin plug the 3 pin plug is the tps.

Any ecu fault code ? If in any doubt replace ICV would be surprised if both are faulty or possible air leak on throttle body housing rubber .

But it idles all over the place which is pointing towards ICV? TPS?

Sound like a air leak problem check the rubber on the throttle /manifold connection first.

Also check map sensor hose and possible failure of same slim chance.

MAP sensor is right next to the water bottle right? Green plug?

Yeah thats fine. Will do the hoses tonight.


Coolant temp sensor? Maybe?

yes correct, coolant cts not responsible for your problem, again check rubbers and pipes/vac pipes and icv.
