I have the choice to get some throttle bodies off an 1100 CBR, ill also be getting a chipped ECU. Which would be the best route to go down? Throttle bodies or Performance inlet? And what are the likely outputs ect on either??

Its a 1.4 16v corsa sport

I thought that you needed standalone management for TB's?

Not exactly clued up but whenever I've seen someone talking about them they always talk about firesquirt management or something like that

You will need a standalone management for TB's

Chipped ECU wont do it as far as i know!

Id say you'd have better performance, efficiency and future performance in the long run if you go to the throttlebodies route as its a stand alone managment etc etc etc

And put cams in, can't go wrong

you would need an inlet manifold to fit the tbs plus management plus mapping on top your looking 1000-1500 quid but 140-150 bhp compared to 110-120 with a performance inlet

deffo need stand alone management for throttle bodies, if you are going for the different inlet manifold you need the standard ecu live remapped or stand alone managment, either way map map map

as people have said, the TB route is far far better but you will need aftermarket management.

Ignore the 'chipped' ecu. Generally they arent infact 'chipped' at all its just a term people use whan hyping up a for sale ad

and even then, who chipped it?
what spec is the chip?
what is the map in the chip for?
straight or crinkle cut?
