I bought a Double bed metal frame with wooden slats, which included a headboard and the mattress for £95 brand new

Its not the comfiest thing in the world, but I put a single duvet (perfect fit for a double mattress) on top of the mattress, then we have a mattress protector, then the actual sheet. Comfy as fuck and well warm
