Im looking to paint my rocker cover on my corsa b 1.6 sport,

its the ecotec engine and looking to paint my one or buy one already painted (blue preferbly)

Just wondering if i just slap some hamerite on top or have to sand anything down? special paint etc...

The plastic bit?
Key the surface and spray with rattle cans
The metal inlet bit i just normally lightly sand and lightly spray

make it slightly ruff so paint keys to the material
