we have 6 laptops and a PS3 all need connecting to the network
On average we have the PS3 and two laptops connected to the network at anyone time
We only have two laptops that are 801.11n compatible (sp) so cant have a N draft router unless it can work in both modes and when working in mixed compaitlibities they give dont give poorer speed than say a G+ router
Brand isnt an issue
Looks isnt an issue
Price isnt an issue
We live in a large 6 bedroom house on three stories so need a large range so preferibly (sp) MIMO
Current router is a Netgear DG834G and have issues with keeping a conection when multiple users are online
answers on a postcard please. tar
edit: ADSL router
and looked
Netgear RangeMax WNR834B
Netgear DGN2000 300Mbps
NETGEAR RANGEMAX 240 WPNT834

Nismo, what do you use on the other end, i.e. laptop/pc 801.11g or 801.11n wireless adaptors, cos we will be using both and i dont want to drop performance!
id prefer to use a lower spec router i.e. a G+ rather than N Draft if a G+ will keep a steady stream working in G as opposed to a N draft working in a mixed mode if you get me

our current router is a netgear and cant faukt it,
Netgear DGN2000 300Mbps i like the looks of this one, but i have read that N draft routers give a poorer performance using a mixed mode as opposed to a G+ router working in G mode alone

Currently have 3 laptops (wireless), 1 pc (hard wired) and Wii (Wireless)
No issues at all.
Just set the wireless mode to G.
