Ive just started trying to use sketch up. I seem to have a problem, i made a plan with colour etc in it, but now every time i load it, or load a new page, it wont let me colour them, and when u make like a cube, it stays just lines, not goes blue etc.


whats goin on?

So when you make a solid side it isnt filling the side in a solid colour as it normally would?

Hmmm, Ive no idea then. Thought that may of been set to 'wired' so just kept the frame rather than it filling it in.

While were in here, is there a way to draw a line dead 33mm rather than dragging it? with a laptop mouse i cant get it exact

Draw it, then in the bottom right corner you'll see somewhere to type in a length - do that and hit enter.
