Does anyone here use it? What's it like?
I am particularly interested in the fact it can export to PDF.

If you need something that exports to PDF and you currently have MS Office, PrimoPDF is what you want

I can export PDF files from Word etc. anyway as I have Acrobat Professional, but I was wondering if getting OO and getting rid of Office and Acrobat was a good idea.

Can't see the point tbh. If you're really familiar with MS Office, OO is actually quite a pain in the arse. I tried it for 1 week and hated it tbh.
