as said it only in the crank breather and the throttle body and induction pipe loads of it like thick soup , so is this a common thing ? i can remove pipes and clean them through but is there a way to stop it, as said only in the intake and the crank breather pipe that goes up to the rocker cover , but its not in the water sump or rocker

take the spark plugs out and make sure they all spark, hold the electrode against something metal, don't touch the HT leads though unless you want a shock.

most probably find it is the coolant tempserature sensor on the side of the thermostat housing.. They have a tendency to go and cause this problem! Umm the sludge well i have found mine has done this a bit.. Just clear them out and when running your car just make sure it gets nice and hot.. Not just the typical 5sec to the shop run.. Oh and the tapping.. Well sounds like the cam or tappets are worn.. Give it a oil change.. 10w40 semi synth.. And see if that helps at all..
