edit - although im suprised rapidshare works, would have thought they would have blocked it....

girlfriends internet at uni is horribly slow. struggles to stream a youtube video!

what download manager is that? ive been using flashget and the rapidshare one but am interested in using others

My cousin's uni has blocked MSN And my mate's one blocks the ports for WoW during the day

No im not, just had an external USB drive plugged into one of the comptuers in the language lab. All the halls are limited to 10mbps internal network, but the computers on campus are all 100mbps, and uni has 622mbps backbone connection

Janet connection?

regularly see 5+mb/s here at uni, but they block rapidshare and the likes

Mine blocked torrents and p2p stuff like limewire

Rapidshare worked fine though
