did they asked you for any details on the console ?
I have a ps3 from china but would like a uk model for blue ray dvd's, different regions.

They'll know as soon as you say the serial number.
Sell the China PS3 and buy a UK one. Why should Sony replace it for you?

Sony swapped mine when it was brand new. Had a reading fault

i have just spoke to them, and they have told me call back with serial number and they will sort me a new one
