am looking for a bit more power out of my x14xe, recently bought a manztel and looking for a four branch, what else could i do?

am not looking for mad power just some more than what i have now

ebay or for sale section on here my 1.4 sport had inlet manifod super chip full stainless system 4 branch manifold and decat and it was rapid!!! my mates is cammed and its not for off 1.6 power

them chips are poo! but get a 4 branch and a decat and change the octane plue for a ronny 98, i only got a 4 branch, deristricted air box and a straight through system and mine keeps up with a modified 16xe

x14xe's don't have RON plugs.

do what im doing ported and polished head with the turbo and 1.6 bottom end got manzel inlet four branch decat and a fuel pressure reg and it beats 1.6 sports and vtr but the best way to get more power for cheap is engine conversion

yeh true only of lights
but cheapest would be decat inductions kit and 4 branch with out going in to to much engine tuneing

c/x16xe or 20xe easiest way for more power.


all you could do with yours now is:

powerbox, decent panel filter, manifold/system, lightened flywheel(no extra power but helps the car rev quicker) headwork, chip(prob get one cheap off here)

other than that bigger engine, or pistons, rods, cams, tb's turbo etc etc

cheers guys, am only asking as i want a bit more while i look for a complete x16xe or c20xe, and then build a good engine for when i come off r plates
