hi folks.
my extra 4gb of memory showed up today.

its http://www.ebuyer.com/product/138563

but my ram slots are too close together lol.

i can run 2 sticks, but due to the heatsinks i cant use all 4.

anyone know of a similar memory module, which may fit?

all memory is the same mate some just have bits of metal stuck on them for no reason other than to make people think there better than they actually are (marketing stunt)! honestly dont waste your money!... I recommend the cruicial ballastix ones - they have them on ebuyer.. i have setup many gaming rigs with them and they are amazing and iirc about half the price?!

haha nah what i mean by that he probably dont need memory with big bits of metal hanging off it unless hes going to do some extreme overclocking - its more a marketing thing then anything else... as a result of him buying that memory it doesnt physically fit on his motherboard! lol

Yeah but from the way your worded your post, you made it sound like all memory is the same - which it isn't, regardless of the tat which manufacturors may or may not stick on the side of it!

i got my 1st set of these cheap, and its damn good memory, thats why i got annother set..

"money already wasted"

but the timings of 4,4,3,15... clock nicely to to 1066mhz..
without the pricetag attached with 8500 ram.
