Hi i have a corsa b with a c20xe engine in it i recently bent my gear linkage due to a rear engine mount bolt snapping, ive been tryin to find out what gear linkage i need and most people have told me you need to modify the original corsa gear linkage is this true?
and by how much would it need to be extended? any help wud b apriciated

If you use the correct gearbox mount you can get the mtech shortshift linkage and it will be a straight swap.

I've only ever used the standard corsa 5 speed linkage, never extended it at all and it's always worked fine for me.

Only problem with above is,is that its hard ish to get it into 2nd and 4th and occasionally pops out of gear.
For th esake of £70 its worth getting the correct part imo
