Run a virus scan tomtom.
Or if you have Norton, there's not much point.
Not saying you have it, just saying it because it's true

That isnt good, someone/ thing is attempting to access your computer. It more than often happens when using p2p programs or sites, do you find it happens alot at certain times or when doing certain things?what AV programs are you using?

Seriously?
Get yourself on majorgeeks.com and get AVG, avira desktop or nod32. Get spybot SD aswell. Download them, making sure all the definitions are upto date and do a thorough scan. How often do you get this message?

There's a Trojan Horse on your system. Google the Win32.etcetc and there should at least be a removal tool for that particular thing.

That message isn't a real Windows Security Center alert - it's malware, probably to do with whatever dodgy files you've been downloading.
You need to download and install something some anti virus (I use AVG, it's free) and something like Ad-Aware (also free). Once you've installed them reboot your system into SAFE MODE (press F8 I think before you see the Windows boot screen and it'll give you options to start in Normal or safe mode), then run said programs to clear the malware.
Look at http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090227204914AA1N9Jy for more information (I found this link by doing a simple GOOGLE SEARCH).

Tom, download and run Avast instead of AVG, AVG 8 has problems finding some trojans and letting them in to begin with, plus it gives you false positives and uses more resources than Avast.
People recommending AVG: Don't get me wrong, I used it for years and 7.5 was a very good program, but 8.0 is useless.
