my mrs bought a KA a few weeks back and is having problems with the central locking, first of all it would lock and then unlock itself, so we took it back to the garage to get fixed, they said it was the drivers side locking mechanism or solenoid but then found out there was a split wire in the loom from the door to inside the car. they fixed that and it was fine for a day. now when you put the key in the drivers door it will not unlock the car and if you unlock the passenger side the car will lock itself again. so when the passenger side unlocked i quickly lifted the handle so i could get in the car and then it locked itself once i had got in. i then tried the drivers door handle from the inside and it opened but the central locking did not disengage, the door opened but the handle went back to the locked position once i let it go but there was no central locking noise. hope i haven't confused you with this. any ideas what is wrong with the locking?
