hello ive got a k reg 1.2 8v merit corsa the brakes seem quite bad the pedal pretty much goes to the floor and they struggle to lock the wheels up every one ive spoke to have said corsa brakes are not so good anyway im a mechanic and ive changed rear cylinders adjusted shoes up stripped n cleaned front brakes changed the brake fluid checked there no leaks the only thing left to try ive got a pedal/servo/mastercylinder off a scrapper
ws just wondering if any one has experience with old 1.2 brakes were they bad too?

aids mate but pedal shouldnt be hitting floor go and change what you said you were going to do coz you mostly find when people bleed brakes they push pedal right to the floor and fuck the master cylinder lol. not saying you have i mean prev owner

pedal should be pretty hard if youve adjusted the rear brakes as its the rear brake adjustment that brings the pedal up!
whats your handbrake adjustment like?

or for the sake of 20 quid you can get a set of calipers and cariers from a 2.0 cav that will fit straight on
