A friend has recently bought a 1.3cdti Corsa C, it started smoking so she took it to a garage who replaced the injectors and told it made a 30% improvement
either way she showed me it today and this is what it looks like on a cold start up
also once left to run for a minute, what is wrong with it any idea's?
rough cost of fixing it aswel would be useful

ell the first video is when it was started from cold, sounded like it was kind of misfiring then when warm still puts out smoke, may sound random but the smell was kind of like charcoal lol.
i drove the car for a few hundred metres and it seemed to drive far bar the smoke coming out the back, didnt push it but seemed to boost perfectly fine.
as for the rest i have no idea as she bought it and has hardly driven it down to this issue, if anyone is in North London/ Stevenage and thinks they can fix the problem or give a proper diagnosis of the problem please contact me (obviously cash will be involved)

Have you checked for the HG issues like shitty mayo oil, using a lot coolant (but it isnt leaking out of a pipe onto the floor)? Pressure test maybe? Its only an 05
If she bought it from a dealer / garage doesnt she have any sort of warranty with it?

This might sound mad but check the air filter.
Haven't wathed the vids but a really dirty air filter causes diesels to smoke.

Warranty? Sounds expensive.

if the head gasket needs done your looking at £400+ garage prices thats for your head bolts and head skimmed etc . the rest is charted up on labour if you can get it done cheaper go for it cos ull prob not find it cheaper then a few hundred quid ,, first thing i would do is self service and use some engine flush but tbh it looks lyk u definatly need the head sorted or the car will go KAPUT and more money is needed
