But the point is surely that it should of come with it in the 1st place. Its something that much much cheaper phones have come with for years which is a bit odd considering how good the rest of the iphone is!
You shouldn't have to download something as basic as that, it should of been there from the start

I think everyone knows it should have had stuff like that from the start, god knows why they didn't. Still hasn't stopped it selling shit loads and now they finally are sorting it then its a bonus.

It's just an example of Apple being the cunts they are and locking down their hardware with their software like usual.
All the stuff they have announced are things that the phone probably should have had in the first place. Saying that, the features are all nice upgrades for me, but I'm not over enthused by it all.
I know why they're doing it though, the new model is soon to be announced and they need to create a bit of hype.

As John said my old dear simply wants to forward texts on her rather expensive phone and would like that to work out the box.
Far from irrelevant when not everyone wants to download third party applications.
