hi all,

looking at purchasing a new set of TAROK disks for my 1.4 corsa sport however, i have the choice of the disks made for my car or the disks made for the 1.6. just wondering if there was any difference between the two apart from the size of the disk and if they would fit easily enough ?

Discs are larger at 256 x 20 mm for the 1.6, but 236 x 20mm for the 1.4.

the caliipers themselves (with the piston in it) are identical, but the calliper carrier (the bit that bolts to the knuckle with 10mm allen bolts) is larger on the 1.6 brakes so that the calliper fits the disc correctly.

Finally, the pads are identical for both brake systems.
