Does anybody know if diesel ones will work in any diesel?
Dad's got a 1.7 td (shitty gm one) and the speedo doesn't work, also has no rev counter.
Would one from a 2.0ltr for instance just plug in?

should work alright
We fitted some diesel ones to my mates 1.6 16v astra as it was all we could get our hands on (speedo wasn;t working)
Funny watching the rev needle dancing about when it's passed the redline
