should there be a lubricant/grease used between the gasket??
or should be gasket be placed in dry?

i usually put the rubber gasket in as normal on the bottom bit, just make sure its pushed into the gaps tightly. then i rub oil over all the top to ensure a good seal. never had any problems with any of the work ive done

Factory put on a sealant plus the gasket, but would recommend putting a sealant on rather than dry.
Otherwise oil might start leaking out and its a bugger if it does as it can drip down the back of the head.

depends on the gasket , genrally no sealant , just make sure its all clean
