just had new cam belt and water pump fitted and now the car is making this nosie and its defo coming from the cam belt side of the engine but hard to pinpoint were, i have taken it back to the garage but they can't do anything to it untill next saturday but i wabt to know what it maybe and if i can fix it beofre then...

sounds like the tentioner pointer hitting somthing or they have used the wrong type of bolt in the tentioner

it shouldnt be harmfull in the short term but i wouldnt leave it like it , make sure you take it to them on sat ,

cheers mate, i defo will be taking it to them on saturday as she was running sweet before and has dented my comfedence in the garage
