1.4 sport, runs same as urs,
ide only worry about it if its running to hot, a cold engine dont over heat and seize lol.

Yeh but he says the oil wont be at the right temperature to to flow properly and clean its self

the temp gauge is the telling you the temperature of the COOLANT.
oil temperature runs very hot regardless of where your coolant temp sits.
