right ive got a external usb memory stick and ive just put some music on it, ive put it on my cd player on the usb lead conected to it, but it doesnt read it and wont play, is there any thing i have to do to make it work, the files are mp3 but it playes mp3 wma and what ever else there is.

It may have some applications built onto the drive? I know Sandisk do this, it effectivly partitions the drive into two which would probably interfere.
When you put your pen drive into your PC does it pop up with something like U3 application suite? and have a list of apps to choose?

there we go, what you need to do is remove this application. I think you need to download something from sandisks website that removes it for you as i dont think manual formatting works. Could be wrong.

ah right, well ive manualy took it off but didnt work so ill find some thing on google to remove it.
Found A removal file, and its formating it all now.

well just put some songs and and it works. Thanks for the help mate 8GB memory stick for the car now lol
